These tools clean windows without streaks

To get windows perfectly clean, many different tools and home remedies are recommended. Which product works best with which technique is often a matter of personal preference. However, some particularly useful cleaning solutions have emerged over the years.

Microfibre cloths are particularly suitable for cleaning windows without streaks. These absorb dirt particularly well and achieve very good cleaning results even with water alone.

in three easy steps

Step 1: Clean window pane

First clean the window pane with a cleaning fibre and water. We recommend here our green fibre with particularly high dirt absorption in the form of the cleaning glove or DuoCloth. Simply wet the fibre and clean the pane in circular motions.

Step 2: Remove the loosened dirt

In the next step, absorb the dirty water with a damp microfibre cloth. This intermediate step is the only way to clean windows without streaks, especially in the case of heavy soiling. We recommend our Pro Cloth Plus for this purpose.

For light soiling, it is often sufficient to clean the window with a damp Pro Cloth Plus. The microfibre structure also absorbs dirt and grease excellently. Therefore, step 1 can be skipped in these cases.

Step 3: Re-drying for streak-free shine

To ensure that the window pane is now clean without streaks, it is important to dry it with the right cloth. The special structure of the JEMAKO Dry Cloth makes it ideal for drying and polishing all insensitive surfaces without leaving lint on the glass.

By the way, it is not necessary to wipe the window evenly from top to bottom.

With these three steps, anyone can properly clean windows.

How do I fold the JEMAKO cloths to get the most out of them?

For optimum results, we recommend always using the Dry Cloth folded and not as a "lump". This ensures that the largest and driest possible area of the cloth is always used.

Step 1-4: In order to make optimum use of the drying cloth, e.g. when cleaning windows, it is recommended to fold the cloth in the middle 3 times beforehand. The open edge and the JEMAKO logo should be at the bottom left (see illustration).

Step 5-6: After that, simply always hit the wet side to the back and continue to use the new, dry surface.

Step 7: Repeat steps 5-6 until the JEMAKO logo is back on the first page.

Cleaning windows with just water

There are a lot of home remedies that are supposed to contribute to a particularly good cleaning. Dirt on windows is often light to normal dirt. In this case, cleaning only with water in combination with the appropriate cloths is perfectly sufficient.

Our fibres and cloths clean brilliantly with just water. They also remove at least 99.9% of bacteria* – a fact that has been certified by the Hamburg-based institute Dr. Brill + Partner GmbH in an extensive test.

If more stubborn dirt is found on the windows, a cleaner can be used. Our Power Cleaner is particularly suitable in these cases due to its high dirt dissolving power with maximum environmental compatibility.

Cleaning windows in the sun

Cleaning windows in the sunshine can be a difficult task, because streaks often develop. This is mainly due to the fact that dirty water dries faster on the hot window pane.

But that doesn't have to be the case: Cleaning windows in the sun can also be streak-free if you use the right technique and the right products.

Streak-free window cleaning in the sun - this is how it works!

Cleaning windows in the sunshine is no different from conventional window cleaning.

However, it should be noted that cleaning windows in the sun should be done as quickly as possible and one window should always be cleaned completely first so that the dirty water does not dry on the pane and streaks do not form.
