We can’t just stop at sustainable cleaning products. Our mission also involves reducing and improving the packaging they come in. You’ve probably already noticed that packaging is changing as you walk around the shops. Plastic is being replaced by cardboard. Refills are being encouraged over buying brand-new products every time. And JEMAKO? We’re taking steps in the right direction too.
Reduce, reuse, recycle
When it comes to packaging, we’re committed to closed loop recycling.
In the ideal scenario, single-use plastic drinks bottles are used to make new JEMAKO packaging, which is then recycled and used to make new bottles for cleaning products. There’s no new waste being produced in this cycle.
